Curtume de Pele de Salmão na Cividade de Bagunte

No passado Sábado, tive o enorme prazer de realizar uma oficina de curtume vegetal de pele de salmão, em parceria com a maravilhosa Associação de Proteção ao Património, Arqueologia e Museus de Vila do Conde (APPA-VC).

Durante aquela manhã soalheira, acolhidos pelas pedras atentas das antigas casas dos nossos antepassados castrejos na Cividade de Bagunte, mergulhámos com o Salmão nesta arte antiga que é a transformação de uma pele de peixe em couro, muito possivelmente praticada também pelos nossos antepassados, nesta nossa terra repleta de rios e à beira mar plantada.
