Portugal is a land rich in wildlife, although it isn’t always easy to spot wild animals, as they tend to be naturally elusive.
In this track & sign course, you will learn how to identify tracks and signs of various wild animals, including fox, otter, squirrel, red deer, fallow deer, wild boar, badger, heron, toad, rabbit, lizard, marten, wolf and wildcat.
All of these animals inhabit Montesinho Natural Park, and all of them leave their mark — whether through tracks, scat, feeding & predation signs, territory marking, nests, burrows, and more.
In this course, you will learn to identify these signs, and gather information from them. You will never see the landscape the same way again—and a warning: it may become an incurable addiction! 😀
